Music in Fairbanks

I'm making a road trip from Anchortown to play music with a very talented songwriter/musician this weekend, actually Friday.
To make a long story short we met somewhere between here and there a couple months ago and his bass player left the band. He sent me a cd of songs about a month ago that I've been learning.
We'll be at the Marlin Friday night starting at 10:00pm and Saturday at Griffin Park for a fundraiser for the heart center from 3-4pm.

I think his music is real good, so just wanted to give the heads up to everyone up north.

If I have a moment to get away, I will definitely come and see you perform. I have to break away from my main event around 5pm because I have a student that is performing her fiddle at Zion Lutheran Church... but I don't know if I can get away from this event http://ignitealaska.blogspot.com/ for too long because I'll have teenagers waiting there for me to take them out to dinner.

So.... see you at Griffin Park around 330pm-ish maybe?
