MPBR for 338 federal

I dont have a ballistic program, and wonder if someone could work out a maximum point blank range for me. My load will be a 200 grain hornady interbond at 2400 fps this bullet has a BC of .361 another load i am considering is a hornady interbond 225 grain bullet with a BC of .397 this load would be driven to 2200 fps aprx. I have never used these bullets for hunting how will they work at these velocites? Thanks

What is your definition of Maximum Point Blank Range?

Sorry! I am shooting at an 8 inch kill zone so want the bullet no higher than 4 inches or lower than 4 inches. (from point of aim)

Load from a Disk figgers, (in 20’ increments)

Sight-In at 220 yards,
which is 3.78 inches high at 100 yards,

and Highest at 120 yards, which is 4 inches,

will be Minus 3.91 inches Low at 260 yards,

and Minus 6.56 at 280 yards.

I’m sure you know that this is only math, and you must shoot to verify.

The site listed below is easy to use for quick ballistic calculations. However, it figures point blank range at +/-3 inches not 4 inches. There may be a way to adjust it but I haven't looked to hard at the options available.
