Thanks!

Thanks!

Thanks for the link! Looks like these guys are on to something... I sent them a note concerning a frame fitting I'd like to see. It does not currently exist, but it would change a few things in frame construction, and do quite well I think.

Frustrating when folks don't put their phone number on their site though... (makes me wonder how serious they are about new business) I sent them an email; do you have a number or contact with them?

Hi again,

I called both numbers you listed here. The first was a private residence and was the wrong number. The guy told me the phone has been ringing off the wall... so I deleted the number from your post.

The second number has been disconnected. Are there any other numbers for these guys?

Thanks!

Nope, just what I found online. Odd about the second number, according the yahoo listing it was posted just last fall.. I had no connection to the site either, just opened it while reading a thread on boater talk.

I know that it may not be right ,but as a small manufacture myself I can relate to not wanting the phone to be ringing all the time when I'm all ready busy. Now if they don't respond to their emails then that would just be bad business. I want to build a new frame this year also and these parts do look nice. I'll wait to see how this turns out with others first. When anyone else knows more about these guys I look forward to hearing about it.

There's a guy in Salt Lake City that has been making frames with two rails for some time, except they are steel and galvanized. He said they're cheap, the weight isn't bad and they're much more stable to stand on/lash your water cans to.

or check out sidsports.com and the two links that reference raft frame kit/components and you'll get the idea.
