Maud Road?

I am thinking of doing some hunting towards Maud Road. I have been told the road has been closed and a mound of dirt has been laid to prevent people from accessing Jim Lake. Can anyone confirm this before I drive 40 miles out to Jim Lake to find out for myself?

I am not sure about the access to Jim Lake but I was at Mud lake on Saturday night and there was 15 vehicles parked there. Some of them were camping and it l;ooked like some were there just for the day.
It will be interesting to see what the condition of the access really is.

I was there Friday to duck hunting Jim lake, no problem going back there.
