I thought I'd start a sticky here of links to companies who make MOST or ALL of their outdoor gear right here in the good 'ol USA. Please add any that you know of. I fear it may be a relatively short list.

Here are a few to get us started.

MSR - http://cascadedesigns.com

Western Mountaineering - http://www.westernmountaineering.com/

Kifaru - http://www.kifaru.net/

Mystery Ranch - http://www.mysteryranch.com/site/index.html

EDIT: Disclaimer...I'm gonna mod this thread heavy and delete/modify/edit any posts that don't contribute to the info of the thread. Don't take it personal. Perry

Ibex loden jackets are made in the USA as well. They are a steal if you can find them on sale.

Coopers are made in Montana.

Sincerely,
Thomas

I saw a news story here in Kansas that talked about local manufacturers and they did a bit from the Coleman factory in Wichita. I don't know which or how many items are made here (it looked like they were making coolers in the background on the newspiece), I am sure that somebody will set me straight on Coleman products not made here.

Coleman is a mixed bag now days... some of their stuff is still made here, some not. At one point I found a website that broke down their product line by country of origin- I'll post if I can find it again.
