Heard a lady on the radio telling somebody in a yellow boat to slow the bleep down coming into the bay because people were on anchor there. That's all I got.
My boat was the 22' inboard jet, maroon and silver, grey canopy, looked a bit like a scene from the Beverly Hillbillies , complete with 2 large dogs and a raft alongside, on the south side between the 2 waterfalls.
No knowledge of the fellow looking for fuel, I wonder how successful he was at finding some. I hope he plans better in the future.
I did notice another jet boat that kept running up and down the bay, through the anchored boats and visiting the blue Wooldridge (I think ?)saturday evening.
LOL we saw you taking the dog out for a potty break Sunday morning. I mentioned to the wife how you had switched waterfalls from the night before and thought it had to do with the wind blowin in the morning.
I should have waved....
I did run my generator but only for a 10 minutes the night before and around 10 am Sunday, the wife wanted hot water, Hope I didn't disturb anyone.
I was in there that late afternoon in a white Tjet, fished up the creek for a bit and boogied. I was suprised to see all the boats anchored up... And the lady yelling at the yellow boat. She sounded pretty ruff! We stayed Friday and Saterday night in Suprise cove and that was pretty busy too. When I went to sleep I counted 12 anchor lights and I know a couple boats were in there that were out of sight. Very nice anchorage though.
