I remember those days. That Elan got old, so did I, then I got fat, now it won't jump no more. Can't figure out why. I remember doing laps for hours in the yard, that was high adventure. Getting us those machines was a great way for parents to babysit. They always knew where we were just by the noise. Great photos, thanks for sharing.

Love the pictures! Nothing better for a kid to start out with than a good ole ski-doo. Started my little man at the same age with an 88 tundra. Now he's gonna be 10! Time goes by too quick with the younguns. My boy tried scratching his head while taking a corner, and has a nice little dent in the front of his machine too!

I know it is 'old hat' for a lot of you guys, but this is the first go 'round for me raising kids...and what everyone has told me is true, they do grow up too fast....sometime I feel like it'd be nice to freeze time and savor the moment a bit more....it is hard to believe that the kid on the snowmachine is the same one that is standing next to me in my avatar picture....it seemed like such a short time ago that he thought it was pretty neat to go take a leak with daddy.... :)

The one good thing about your kids growing up is grand kids and I'm here to tell you grand kids are great. It is great to see my kids teaching their kids some of the same things I taught them. Makes me feel like maybe I did a little something right.

I gotta add something funny...The other day my son was talking to his 7 year old, (my grandson)...He was relaying one of my old stale jokes or sayings and then turned to me and said..."geez....I am starting to sound like MY Dad..."...It happens quick...Carpe Diem...
