Leica Geovid Blowout

The Leica Blowout Sale continues......

A LEICA GEOVID BRF will accompany you through thick and thin. The housing is made of cast aluminum, not only to reduce weight but also for its special robustness. It is filled with nitrogen to eliminate fogging-up of the lenses. The precise processing typical for Leica guarantees that a LEICA GEOVID BRF remains fully operational even during inclement weather conditions - even down to five meters deep in water (16.5 ft). Its folding lines and the ergonomic design make the Geovid extraordinarily compact and space-saving. The way it fits in your hand is a feature that you will continue to notice, even after many ventures out in the field.

Leica 8x42 Geovid @ $1749.99

Leica 10x42 Geovid @ $1799.99

Leica 15x56 Geovid @ $2099.99

These are new with the Leica USA Warranty. If there are any questions we can answer for you please feel free to call.
Thanks for all the support.

Warranty question

Warranty question

Why does the Leica warranty on the Geovids only cover 5 years on the optics instead of lifetime like the other Leica bionocular models? I can see limiting the warranty on the binocular's electronic components but why also the optics?

Unfortunately, there are individuals that would intentionally damage the optics if something went wrong with the electronic in order to get the unit replaced under warranty. Sad & unfortunate, but a reality. No manufacturer that I know of gives a lifetime warranty on anything with electronics and most only give 2 years.

I suppose that does make some sense. It's too bad people act that way. I would really like to pick up a pair of the geovids and the price you are offering is darn good but the lack of a significant warranty holds me back. I've had high end optics fail on me before and the ability to return them for repair or replacement is very important if I am going to pay the extra $$ for a premium quality item.
