I have a friend who is moving to Anchorage in the next few months, he has hunted interior Alaska about a half dozen times. He was wondering if anyone that hunts Alaska every year uses any gear from Kifaru and what their experience has been. I have read both good and bad reviews on the web about their products, more good than bad.

I have the kifaru longhunter and think it's an excellant and well thought out pack. I've loaded this sucker with quite a bit of weight and have yet to have a problem with it. I've had it for a couple years now and even with hard use it's still in good shape, well worth the $$$

I own two of their packs and love them. My hunting partners have started to go with them too and really like them. Being a geezer I chose to go with the smaller packs (can't put too much in them) and really like the way they ride. Jim
