#1 stove oil? My favorite source is from the bulk rack at the Shell (old Kwik Kard) facility at the corner of the Parks Highway and Vine. I fill 55s of gasoline there as well. High volume pumps!

Petro Products used to have bulk #1 at their yard just south of Dowling on Lake Otis in Anchorage. I haven't been there for a few years, though.

The place on the parks and vine do you haft to have a card or do they take cash...dose anyone know how much the no,1 fuel oil is there now.
I do know that now is the time to buy it the price of fuel is garanteed to go up and mabe more than double of what it is now by summer........
Also dose anyone know where to get the 15 gallon cubes for hauling fuel
I can handle them alot better than 55 gallon drums and they are easyer to haul in on the sled

Jet-A vs Kerosene

Jet-A vs Kerosene

Commercial Jet-A is pure kerosene. This last summer i saw the prices of Kerosene at the store as high as $11 a gallon. Jet-A at your local airport is currently a little over $3 a gallon. I'm not sure if you can go fill up a 5 gallon can, but I believe their are unmanned pumps that you can use your credit card at.... I would think you could fill up a container.

Discussed this a bit in this thread: http://forums.outdoorsdirectory.com/showthread.php?t=44472
