Kenai weekend advice.

I'm leaving tomorrow to go dipnet the kenai on friday. I was planning to say all weekend but now that its closed saturday I need some advice. What else can I do on saturday now that the Kenai is close. I have a big jet boat with a big motor so I can't go up river and try my hand at kings.

Kasilof is still open for dipnet from what I understand.

Is there a motor restriction on the Kasilof?

Where would I launch my boat to access the Kasilof dip netting area on saturday if I wanted to do that?

If that option is not available to me are there any silvers/kings available in Ninilchik, Anchor Point or Homer right now? I'm already full up on halibut so I don't really need to do that I need the salmon.

Just need some Ideas so my weekend isn't a complete bust

Arctic, I believe Kasilof is no motors
You better check --I am a tourist as of next Tuesday staying a week on the Kenai ---1 red

LOL.........1 red per day, how sad is that??? Man it's not even worth going down there for one fish, unless your fishing for something else too then it might be worth it. Rainbow fishing should be very good in another month right along with the silvers.

Hey, check the dipnet portion of this fishing forum. I and others have left a bunch of information about using a boat on the kasilof for dipnetting. I did real well this year with a boat on the kasilof
