Decided to hit Harding one more time! Just can't seem to stay away. I met forum member Gutleap out at the lake and we ventured out on ATV's across the lake. We had it all set up and with an hour I had the first Laker hooked but lost him just below the hole. Within two more hours I caught two Arctic Chars. I am thinking wow! I told Jeff he could hard luck Harding hate me! We are using the same exact stuff. About another hour pasesd and I caught a Laker. It was an extreamly nice day out on the water and had a few good laughs. Great way to end it. :) Looking forward to next ice!

The Harding Master Laker Taker Award definetly goes to Ron for this past winter!

The Harding Master Laker Taker Award definetly goes to Ron for this past winter!

An incredible last day of fishing on Harding. Ron has truly earned the Master Laker Taker Award. We sat side by side all day in my QuickFish 6 and I watched the master hook one after another. Look at all these photos of the rod bent on multiple hook ups today.

We were both using the same lure and techniques. I was not able to hook one single fish. It was amazing to watch on the Vexilar a fish that would come into my lure without a bite and then go over to Ron's lure and bite it and Ron would nail him. I sat there and just shook my head. Fish count for the day: Ron = 2 char, 1 laker. Jeff = 0 char, 0 laker.

I have to agree with JMSS that there is something magical about Ron's lures when they are in the water. Nonetheless, I was at least able to take all the photo's of the day and witness the "force" that is with Ron. It is nice to have someone to fish with that shares my passion for the hardwater. Way to go buddy!!

The rod is built by Two Rivers a local builder. I bought it a Sportsman's Warehouse. The reel is an ABU Garcia Revo S. The reel was a good fit on the rod as far as balance and easy to hold on to. I am already looking forward to next ice season.

Great photos. Considering you have t-shirts on it must've been a great day to soak up a few UV's.

SSSSSSHHHHHH! It's a secret! All things are possible. Just depends on how the ice is on the edges. If I do go I will be walking.
