Inflatable Adhesive

Looking for urethane or other adhesive to put some additional D-rings on my pvc inflatable. Any idea on where to buy, because “can’t ship to your address”….

If it's pvc you can use shower pan liner cement from lowes. Shower pan liner is pvc and makes great patches as well. Used it to fix an 8 inch gash from a bear and it worked perfect.

Lightly sand both surfaces and wipe down with mek. Light coat on both sides and when tacky press together. It's works best if you can deflate and use some weight to hold together while it dries.

What is mek?

It's a solvent that is found at most hardware stores. Stands for methyl ethyl ketone.

Should also add that alaska raft and kayak should carry some type of adhesive like hh66 which would work. Some of the upholstery places in town should also have something but not sure if they would sell to the public.

Stabond is what you want for pvc. Call West Marine and see if they can get it or have it in stock. Yes on the MEK for prep. NRS has a great vid on how to prep and apply.

The MEK is for cleaning and prepping the surface to be bonded. The HH66 is the adhesive for PVC and urethane fabrics
