Most of the flags you see now waving in front of those houses are those that have memerios of times defending this country.

I would ask those that have defended this country if it would offend them if others flew the flag?

I understand the feelings.

I would not be offended by anyone flying the American flag. You should lower the flag at night, don't let it fly in the dark. Never let it touch the ground. And don't fly the flag if it becomes raggedy, retire the old flag and fly a new one. Here's a link for flag rules and such.

Between two lakes in Alaska
On my drives home at night I pass by a Harley dealer that flys a very large American flag. Always causes my chest to swell. A great thing to see people fly the American flag.
