Anyone fished the beaver lakes yet?

Went out to Lake Lucille today for awhile with the kids. Ice in the area of the boat ramp is 5-7 inches. Saw a guy drive hours truck out on it, but I will wait a while before I try that.

6" of ice out in Nikiski

Just punched a hole through on finger lake and the ice is 15" thick and have seen a few people driving on it I drove my pick up out to drill the hole

Do you ice fish the river and and its drainages? I ice fish quite a bit but only on lakes. I would love to try ice fishing rivers but I have 0 experience.

Also, I was out at Lower Summit this Saturday and the ice was 10" thick.

fire lake has about 18 inches.

There was a report the other day of a machine going through.

Lucille lake was 4in at the public access by the dock. Another ten feet out was maybe 3in and soft. Needs more time.

Anyone out hardwater fishing yet? I’m itching to get out, hopefully this weekend. I heard lakes in Anchorage are 3”-6”, but was curious if anyone has been out in the valley yet?

Maybe Loberg? Or Lucille?

Got reports from friends that Spirit Lake, Kelly Lake and Peterson Lake all had 4" plus. Still have open water in Nikiski.
