Ice fishing Long lake (glenn hwy) report

Hey all, here is a condition report on long lake. The ice in the main lake was 11 inches where I measured, I would imagine that there are thinner places. The drifting is not terrible yet, but there is definitely some overflow. It is fully covered with about 4 inches of snow with some drifting and overflow on the entrance. We took a snow machine out because it was too risky to take our truck out. If you want to see how we did check out the video.

Cool video! Good for you guys. Way to get the kids out there instead of playing video games. I knew there was lake trout in Long lake but I've never caught one out of that lake. And that was cool seeing those baby burbot in his mouth/gills.
