Myself and Jedi decided we were going to Quartz Lake today and try to catch some Rainbows before the ice thawed. We met up with Sapper27 at the lake and we gave it a go. Here is what we found out today. Well the ice is not going to thaw for awhile and we did not catch any Rainbows either so the back up plan was to go to……………..wait for it…….Yes! Harding Lake! Between the four of us we only managed 3 bites and one hook up. The one I did catch I snuck up on. It was a great day on the ice enjoying the sun! I even think I got sunburn. There might be one more day in the mix as long as it does not get to warm.
