How was your shrimp opener????

lemme try the photos again... they load up fine when I posted. And it was 15gal of whole shrimp... I'd have pooped my pants if it was tails only. I'm still happy if a couple of shrimp bless me in my pots! Anyone notice the permit now says 80 shrimp = a gallon to report? Last year it was 50.



Sorry Rob...I should have let you know! We had a cabin reserved for the week. Gonna be back out this Fri-Mon with the guys from my station again. Then just a bunch of day trips and maybe a few overnights on the boat (with the right person of course! :lol

Got about 5gallons of shrimp and a couple rock fish. Overall a good weekend. Was able to take a guy from Australia out and he was amazed all weekend. What a wonderful place we get to live in.

Isn't that the truth? I heard a guy tell some clients on a charter that 'our daily way of life is their great adventure' I always though that was fairly true...

Had a pretty good 48 hours of shrimpin over the weekend!

Paulson Bay forest service cabin will be opening up for the weekend - have to cancel my reservation due to boat mechanical issues!

I think we ended up with around 5 gallons of tails. It was a bit slow, but they seemed bigger. A good pot was 30 for us, whereas in the past I was happy over 100. Gotta keep prospecting new spots, I guess.
