How bout small shrimp pots/crab baskets for small boat?

ok, new to the white mountain area and i have a flat bottom with 35 hp that does well in choppy water to a point...so, i would like to get out on a decent day and set some crab/shrimp pots/baskets just for the fun of it...

can i make my own small ones? or, could i buy a couple of small ones?

any net sites?
