Just came back from a 5 day trip to Homer. Targeted salmon & absolutely slammed the silvers. It's been many years since I've seen massive schools cruising the shorelines of Kachemak Bay. Needless to say I had a blast. No matter where or how I fished, silvers were eager to oblige. Keep your lines tight & enjoy them while they're there.

hell, I was out there halibut fishing since I got enough silvers in Seward, and I couldn't resist dropping a mooch rig with my halibut pole and picked up a silver. You haven't had fun until you've tried to get a very active silver in the boat with no net and someone who is a newbie to using a gaff. I should have had 1) the GoPro running and 2) clown car music blaring on the stereo! LOL
