Homer bass/yellow eye

I have fishined Homer dozen of times and never have hooked into Black bass nor a yellow eye. I heading out to homer tomorrow and was wondering where can you hook in to them?

Among other places black bass can be found in the kelp beds off of the bluff, and at the entrance to Sadie Cove. I've heard that Seldovia bluffs, Point Pogishbie (sp?),also have them.

Thanks. I give it a try tomorrow since I want to try fishing for butt near the kelp beds in Seldova

How did you do on the bass? I have fished around Pogi Point and caught several of them. We were in there Memorial Day weekend and caught Sea Bass, Hailbut, and two nice Kings.

Never made it to there. We fished straight out from Seldovia. Caught two huge skates that would of gone over 100#. Caught a ton of Halibut. Had a great time.
