Most of the trapping up here begins Nov. 10. The only thing open right now is muskrat and beaver. I don't usually start getting many sets out until around mid-december.

While I am not trapping any longer, I also like hearing and see the results. Once things cool off some more then it will be time to head out varmint hunting!!!!!

I don't think he was asking about the "Trapping" Sub-forum. But the entire "Alaska Outdoors Forum SITE".

I do not think that the 'site' is dead, just that it is that time of the year! Hunting season is coming to a close, gardens are being harvested and we are getting ready for winter. Not a whole lot of free time!
