Fur sewing hats/mittens

I’m thinking about getting some fur hats made. I bought a hat from somebody who’s sister made one for him. I love the hat, not super fancy but it looks good and is very warm. I’ve been looking at a few locals but their work seems to be very nice and not something I would want to use every day. Does anybody know somebody who makes hats.
I also have a black bear hide I was thinking about using for the hats but I don’t see that very often. Is there a reason for this?

Look up Bonnie Brummett, her company is Alaska Spirit Crafts. She is in Arizona now but was in Chickaloon for a long time. We have sent her our tanned hides and she has made the most fantastic hats for us. She also has an Etsy account if you want to look at some of her stuff. One of the hats I got from her was a bear hat. Bear is just not the warmest choice when you have options like beaver, seal, river otter, etc. but my bear hat looks cool, and would be good for more tepid winter weather.
