HAVE-Alaska will have the honor of hosting 10 wounded soldiers this spring for black bear baiting. Any tips and advise are greatloy appreciated as well as any helpfull donations (dog food). Bait'em 907 is instrumental in getting us ready for this event and HAVE-Alaska would like to thank her for her help. The hunters will be coming in groups of 4/3/3 for 5 days each, we are trying to a raise funds for 1 bag per day per hunter. We are almost there..

If any of the hunters wish to have the bears they harvest mounted, I can get with your program and work out a deal. Say 25% or something off any mount they choose.. Rug, shoulder or lifesize. They can get with me before hand and I can show them where to cut and where not to cut.. Etc.. I'm in the service also.

Definitely take him up on this. I stopped by and saw some of his work, and watched him skin out a wolf. Fantastic work and taught me quite a bit about caring for, and preserving the hide. Thanks again.

Just got in my packet of seals from ADFG, I will be an authorized sealer of black bears and all fur bearers for 2011-12 season. if all goes well, I will continue to seal bears and such for ADFG.

Had a young gal bring in a nick black bear monday she took in 14A on her way to work.. not sure how she managed to get that thing in the back seat of her Dogde omni by herself.. Was going to call ya as I had to skin, turn, flesh and salt before going to my real job..

Ret 25 Y/o, What are the dates the guys are comming up to hunt? if you still want me do do something with them let me know.. I will have to arrange my work schedule around that time frame...

Hoytguy, That is a nice looking mount. I may have to look you up if I get a chance to get out. Kinda doubtfull I will make it out this year. Would have loved to go out with H.A.V.E. but never got the chance to talk with them, plus give the injured War Vets a chance to do some if this great Alaska Hunting. I may try a PWS hunt early June, just have to have my partner skin it and pack it for me.. Where do you work out of if you are still Active Military?
