I will be coming to Juneau shortly and need some advice. On another thread a bunch of real helpful people have advised me to purchase a boat. Should I get a boat prior to my arrival (cheaper?), if so what would brand would any of you suggest? I plan on doing as much fishing (halibut, salmon etc) as humanly possible. Would also like some advice on fishing gear. I have a bunch of Bass gear but no Salt water stuff. Once again thanks for your extremely helpful and friendly advice.
