Federal duck stamp source?

Is there any place other than a post office where one can purchase a federal duck stamp? A family member is going out moose hunting tomorrow and was hoping to do some duck hunting, but didn't get to a post office today.

Both the ER and Chugiak post offices are out of stamps. I was able to get mine at Cabelas on Thursday.

Might save you a drive if you check ER Wally World. Unless you have an exemption, make sure you have an AK state stamp, too.

Most of your big stores carry them, Freddies, Walmart, Carrs, etc. You can also get them at Cabelas, Bass Pro, and Sportsman's as well.

Almost everywhere except F & G. Bummer they don't sell the federal stamp too.

Brian, it sounds like you need to get back out to the marsh and get after it. You're pretty much missing out on half of your life by not duck hunting...just my opinion.

Ha! I figured I'd get such a comment. I love that duck hunting can be done in a few hours in the morning, but when given the choice I'd always rather be chasing game in the mountains.

Make sure they sign their name across both sets of stamps.

USPS online has them as well. Won't show up in your mailbox for a few days, but it's a source.

Cabelas in anchorage still has them bought mine there a few days ago. State stamps are everywhere the guy at Carr's or Freddies one told me they only gave 20 Fed to each store of that retailer whichever one it was.

I Picked up my Fed stamp at SW in Wasilla a couple days ago and they had both available.
