Incredible!
This is a huge leap forward, Mr. Johnson! It will be a bit of a learning curve, but to me it's sort of like moving into a new house. Lots of rooms to explore, lots of places to run around. Thanks for all the work that went into this!

I really like the way we can now post PICTURES! I'll start with a picture of my ugly mug from a Kenai River float a while back...

This new interface will help us connect in a lot better way. Nice job!

-Mike

Wow! I feel like I have a new computer! Like Mike said it will take a little time to get used too, but for some reason I never have any trouble finding time to get on here and read the posts. Thanks David! EricL

When you see Mike's face, you'll understand why the pic needs approval.......hahahaha!

I thought I'd get the ugly mug out of the way first. Probably burst a few bubbles there with the guys who thought I was just a pimply-faced fourteen-year-old kid!

Wow!

Wow!

This is fantastic! Now that we can share photos, I'll post my bear I took two years ago. He was 6'9 and just under a 20inch skull. The look on my face? Dont ask, I think I was scared to death. I dont remember alot, except my soon to be hubby sitting next to me in the tree stand (with my rifle across his lap and crosshairs on the bear) saying I'll kill you if you shoot my knee! <grin>

Trapper,

That's a gorgeous bear. Did it have any rubs?

-Mike

Hi Mike,

Nope he wasnt rubbed one bit. He does have a nasty scar on the front left shoulder though where he had been in some sort of scuffle. He had a couple on his head as well but to me, that only gave him character. The Bio said he was over 25 years old and that I probably did this poor old boy a favor.
For my first bear Im pretty proud. After taking him, I went out and bought a bow. I doubt that I'll ever top him, but thats ok. Im told its rare to find them that big around these parts (Not too far from Anchorage, but Im not telling where! Haha) Thank you for allowing me to share.

Looks like Strahan comes out of the corner quick with AK45 to the inside, neck and neck...David thanks for having post counts, helps to keep track of the race.

Outstanding bear. That's what I'm aiming for this spring. Already started the year off with a brown bear, but now it's time to put the bait out!
