Fairbanks Veterinary Recommendations

New to Fairbanks and looking for a quality Vet. Don't need one yet just planning ahead. Any recommendations? Any to avoid? Preferably someone who is familiar with hunting breeds. No baths or ear bows required. Thanks

Cort Zachel, 898 Ballaine Road, 907-479-3641, no nonsense country doctor. Works from office/home he is who I use and I have tried about all of them.

Try Dr. Cole at Aurora Animal Clinic. She has hunting dogs, and I've been very happy with how she has worked with my dog. Some of the other vets there might be a bit more touchy-feely, but she is great.

All good recommendations IMHO. Personally, I use Dr. Mark May at Golden Heart Veterinary.
