Electronic predator calls & extreme cold

Does anyone have experience with their callers not working at certain temps? I am looking at buying a caller and one review said remote struggles in cold temps. Which made me question all of them.

I'm in the interior and will be going out down to, but not more than -30 if it hits that cold this winter.

Anyone have any experience good or bad?

Looking at foxpro hammerjack and icotec 320 or 350. But not exclusive.

I have a foxpro, and the remote has been fine down to around -15. I can't speak to -30.

Ok, for what it's worth, I use a Mouth-Diaphragm call when its that Cold,,,,, been doing it for years.

I've not tried mouth calls in over 20 years, lol I don't have that skillset. Of course can be developed though. Thanks for the reply.

Ok, just to be clear, No open or closed reed calls, when it's that Cold, I've found my Diaphragm Calls work the best, and when it's that Cold, I've also found that being free to move around some, and not have all that extra gear to tote, can, and does bring rewards...... been Chasing/Hunting yotes since about 1963 +/-.....

I've used my Foxpro and remote down to -25. Lithium batteries work, but make sure to bring extras. My experience is that alkaline batteries do not work in those temps long enough to make one setup. It was a long drive back to town to buy batteries the first time I was dumb enough to use them.

Ok, interesting concept, what might be the Fuel-Source for this Heated Box...... sounds like a lot more Chit to be packing around to me.....

Does it matter as long as it works?
As far as a heat source goes battery, candle, alternator, hand warmer, etc.
It depends on the imagination of the user and how bad he wants it to work.
