Has anyone been out to Eklutna in the last couple of days to see if there is more water flowing out of the power plant? And if any kings have showed up there.
I went on Sat/sunday night. Very low water flow in the Knik. Seemed kinda normal in the tailrace. Once High tide came in it flooded ok. No action at all though. No roller etc. Any day now though!! (man am I getting tired of saying that!!............I wish they'd show up!)
I was out there for a little while sat afternoon, Kink was shallow, and NO action from anyone... Although an airboat came hauling butt up and caused some action, albeit loud and obnoxious! Oh well, its all good, its fishing time!
Heard kings were caught in Ship. (just 2) I saw blood on a cleaning table, and talked to some folks who saw the fish caught, a 20lb or so. So last tide brought in a a couple anyway. Eklutna will start getting em soon.
