Devils canyon run

Going to run up to devils canyon saturday if anyone wants to follow in their boats, itll be my first run up that far, will probably just go to the bottom of it.

I flew over Devils Canyon when i was doing my long cross country for my pilot's license a long time ago - that's some really tough water! Let us know how you make out and good luck!

I will be up that way screwing around on Saturday as well. Have yet to make it to the canyon. How far above Indian river is it? The river I really want to run is the Chulitna but I won't hijack your thread in asking if anyone else has ran it. I run a black & gray 22' Riddle. maybe we will see you out on the river

Havnt been up there since i was a kid, running 2 21ft wooldridge alaskan xl sportjets up there, one is all blue and one will be white with a black top. If we see ya parked we will stop and say hi, if not we will wave and keep on running haha! Either way im sure we will see ya!

it is about 15 miles or so past Indian. Maybe 5-6 past Portage Creek. It is quite the run to get their. It takes some HP once you get into the wave trains and rapids. On a sunny day the ride up is awesome. Watch the bolder gardens above Mahays first camp. there are two of them

Looks like the trip isnt happening now, the guy that was going up with me on saturday isnt going to make it and i am not going to do a solo run up there, ill probably just play around on the talkeetna river, or the knik who knows.

Sorry man. I really wish I could make it but it is my busy time of the year and work is getting in the way of my boating season.
