All three species of grouse [ruffed, sharptail & spruce] were in the lows of their cycle prior to the last devastating winter and now they are almost non-existant. Please don't come to Delta or Tok looking for a great upland bird huntingg experience.

The ungulates also too a huge hit this past winter.

I've been seeing sharptails, spruce and ruffed grouse. They eat buds all winter long so not effected by winter,
the key with them is clutch survival and we did have a nice warm and dry spring.

Ungulates were hit hard by the winter ice/rain/snow/ice.
