Lots of fun at Deep Creek this weekend.
The clammers (our family included) were out en mass this weekend with the -4.2 tide. The clams were large and plentiful for all.
The kings were hitting well, we caught a couple but lost many short strikers. The rigged herring and 1 1/2 ounce banana sinker seemed to be the deal. Tea spoons are hot as are vibraxes trolled. Divers were a no-go for us.
Halibut were hot but the huge tides were tough to deal with. We caught two 25'ers, had a couple of big guys on, but lost 'em.
Good times as always at the Deep Creek...fish on!
