There used to be a company by the name of AK Gear, from Homer, that sold packs. The guy was a hunter, who decided to make his own pack. His friends liked the pack so much, he started making them and selling to the public. I use to see him at the Sportsmans Show every year, but he hasn't been there in a few years. He also, had a website, but no longer available.

You are correct, my mistake. It was Alaska Range Gear, what happened to the company? Anyone, know? He had some nice looking packs!!!
