I hope everyone is safe there in Cordova with 18 feet of snow. With two and a half more months of the usually snowiest time of the year there still ahead I hope you're all doing ok. With all of the airplanes that are tied down in the weather along the edge of the city strip, it must be a chore just getting there to keep wings from collapsing under the weight of heavy rain soaked snow. And now there are freezing temperatures forecast to make snow removal even more difficult. I'm sure we're all rooting for you. Hope more snow shovels arrive soon.

love the post. Hope they get cleaned up before the big freeze hits, extended high pressure over the mainland should shut down the storm track for a while though after this final wave of precip. To me it sounds like they got so excited about sending in the guard they forget to send them with shovels!
