clear creek

Went up to clear creek on Sunday. We were going trout fishing. (caught some real nice ones ( a few over 22") The reds were in pretty good on the edge of the silt on the upper side of clear creek (which with the water so low is now only fish creek, no clear creek water at all is coming over the top side and the lower side is raging. the kings are there I saw a couple caught, little ones. The boats are pulling up near the rock bars below clear creek in the talkeetna and using wiggle warts. the water is so low that you could actually fish from the bank on the opposite side of the creek from the gravel bar everyone camps on near the bottom side of clear creek.

Did you run up Clear creek at all? Just wondering what it's like up there right now, since it changes so much. Getting ready to head there and thought I'd get some info before heading out this time.

Wondering how far we'll make it up by boat, and how far we'll have to hike and if it's crossable (wading) this year.
