Does anyone know if someone makes a synthetic stock for a Browning hi power safari grade mine is in 30-06 any help would be much appreciated....Thanks Ronnie
one of the earlier rifles based on the FN commercial model 98 Mauser, there are any number of stocks available. Might need some 'massaging' in the barrel channel to get the unique Browning barrel profile in there, but that is something that happens as a matter of course, no one can make one to fit 'all' unless the channel is grotesquely oversized.
If you've got one of the A-Bolt based rifles, I would suggest you look to Browning for the 'best' fit synthetic.

If you are not in a hurry (around 5 months lead time right now) McMillan will make a stock with a specific inlet for your rifle--the lead time speaks of their quality and demand. There are others that will do the same for your Browning; MPI & Lonewolf are two that I have experience with and both are reputable companies. MPI makes an excellent product in a variety of styles and will fit most any of their stocks to your rifle. Lonewolf can accomodate your Browning and give you a lot of variation in the finished weight of your stock if that is a concern. I hope this is the kind of info you hoped to find.
McMillan has stocked two of them for me. This is one of my favorite rifles and I like the classic style stock on my Mausers (actually styled like the M70 super grade stock). I think I ordered the stock and gave them my credit card then they notified me when to send my rifle and they had the guns only about 3 or 4 weeks. They may be able to make a drop-in stock for the Browning now with the barrel steps and the correct dimensions for the bottom metal. A fine rifle like the Safari deserves a fine stock and the McM is just that. It is a Mauser, with some refinements, that require different inletting. The bottom metal and the bolt release are different as well as the sliding tang safety needing a slight cut out. What year is your '06?
