Hahaha happened all the time whether hunting or fishing, the second you pay attention to something else “they” show up!

Indeed! I remember it used to be for us fishing, as soon as you put your rod in the rod holder to grab something to eat you’d get a hit.

As the story was told, the buck may not have stopped if he hadn't seen something out of the ordinary. Rather be lucky than good sometimes

#2 makes it happen--I've had deer, moose, and big halibut time things extremely well.

My buddy took a dump in the woods one time, and walked away from it. His stand wasn't too far so he sat back down. An hour later he catches movement in the crapper area and there was a doe licking her chops and had toilet paper on her lips. I know dogs will eat it too!!!!

Remind me of the time I was duck hunting on the flats.
Stepped outside the duck blind to take a whizz and a flock of teal landed right in amongst my teal decoys.
One of the males was trying to put the moves on one of my teal decoys and I had the wrong gun in my hand.lol
If I had my shotgun with me it would have been an easy 10 yd shot.
Unfortunately when I went for my gun they flew off.
