Black Bears in Ketchikan

I was doing some research into hunting from one of the public cabins near Ketchikan, any information on densities of bears and/or densities of hunters in the area would be appreciated.

I worked there for three summers and there are a lot of bears. I was mostly south of town and you can hunt in Carrol inlet and also George inlet. Carrol would probaly be best as it is longer. Just take a skiff and cruise the shoreline. Good luck.
