THE RIVER TO THE DESHKA IS OPEN. The ice went last night.The trip to the Deshka is dangerous right now due to ice shelves breaking loose.Alot of stuff in the water,but it is open.I suspect that by Friday it should be good to go.
The Yentna broke at Lake Creek yesterday.A pilot report from last night said that a person might make it to Skwentna but it would not be easy. The water ways are open but no one has come into the landing yet.
The marina has no water in it at this time ,but the low water launch is usable.
The temp. yesterday afternoon at the Deshka landing was 57. [ Copied from the DLOA website.]
