Bear RECON mission

Hiked about 4 miles up Bird creek with the fresh snow, glassed every hill between anchorage and the sterling highway from 6-9pm. Lots of snow past the turnigain pass. Hiked up indian valley a couple miles also. No bears no tracks, no scat. lots of snow still. just a tad early I think. couple weeks I think.

for the great info.
I was thinkin of headin' down for some glassin, I appreciate the update on conditions, etc. Maybe I'll hang in there a week or so...
