Bear chewed on rafts

My Father called Montana home and he spent a LOT of time camped out in a tent far off the road. He believed moth balls helped keep Grizzly bears away from his tent/camp.

buried my dog in bear country about 18" down. Layered soil and sprinkled moth balls, soil and moth balls, soil with moth balls just below and above the surface. So far undisturbed grave site.
