Already seen 2 bears this weekend.

Saw one on the old glen between eagle river and peters creek and another on Skilak lake road. Both Black bears. Anybody else seen any? Has any body seen there bigger cousins?

I just found the first set of Brown Bear Tracks in the Backyard. They were not there late yesterday. He or She did a 180 Degree turn on encountering human tracks. First set this year.

Just saw our first set of brown bear tracks this afternoon. It was fairly small one that came down from Mt. Beluga looked like it was headed for the Talachulitna.
