Larry Van Daele, along with a number of other bear biologists that have worked for various agencies, has produced a wealth of information that has helped to insure the long term well-being of the resource, and greatly contributed to the proficiency of hunters.
The video "Take a Closer Look" is another great source of information about bears and bear hunting.
