A few pics from Early October outing

First week of October and the Britts and I found ten inches of snow and a few birds...if you look closely at the last picture you can see radio collars. It was interesting finding those and learning about their story.
Pie going on 12 years 9 months old...lucky to have such a bird dog and happy to be owned by her still.
Lil'Joe Three years 3 months old...love the the little monster, but he is an enigma! Starting to think we might team up on many more birds in the future.

Awesome Burke! Those dogs are amazing to watch work! Can't wait to see you out here again. More birds showing up and ton's o sharp tails have showed up. First time I've seen them on the highway.
