Heres a few pics of the new North River twin diesel in production. Scheduled for completion in July with an inside passage trip to Valdez.

Interesting layout of the aft deck. I'm assuming the deck is so high up due to the diesels taking up all the space inside.

I am guessing that based on the current pictures the original statement of 'scheduled for completion in July' has been retracted. Will it have Volvo's or another power source? What is the beam on this boat?

Unfortunately the vessel was painted and stripped back down twice before they realized they had some bad paint from the supplier. The paint was apparently fish-eyeing. It delayed delivery but will be completed in the next couple weeks. It will be powered with twin HPEP250 diesels w/ bravo II drives. It should perform as my current 30' Almar Sounder with the same power. 33-35mph cruise @ 13-14gph. The beam is 9.5 feet.

HG, very nice boat. Share with us how you made the decision to go with the North River. I have been considering upgrading my offshore but the more I look at the various manufacturers the more confusing it becomes. How did you find clarity in your decision making?
