Can you tell us more about this boat? Is it yours? How does this boat compare to a Hewescraft Alaskan 240? The bow looks low to the water. How does this boat do in the slop? It looks like it would be good for beach unloading of people and gear.

Yes this is my boat, this boat is built stronger than a hewes there for it will ride better in the slop. The bow rise on this boat cuts through the waves pretty good. Mabe just a preference but I like the stronger built boats and weldcraft does a great job and thats why I am looking into getting another one built. Its great for pulling up to the beach and having the walk through window to unload people or camping gear. Feel free to call me if you have any questions.

The whole fit and finish is much nicer than a Hewescraft too.
