22 searunner vs. ocean pro

has anybody tried out the hewescraft ocean pro? it is a wider and little deeper version of the standard searunner. wondering how the handling and ride compares.

I just bought the Ocean Pro but havent had it in the water yet!!!! sorry cant be much help to you. Ive heard nothing but good about them though. Good luck.

I have 2 friends, one has the sea runner 22 ext transom and enclosed hard top with 150 and the other has a 22 oceanpro ext transom enclosed hardtop with a 175.

There is a major difference in how each boat sits at rest and trolls. The oceanpro is much stabler. Both run awesomly but the oceanpro is worth the extra $.

I wouldn't buy the 22 searunner. The guy who has the oceanpro is 300lbs and goes out with his 300lb pop and a buddy and the 175 does just fine. If you were a regular guy you could get away with the 150 but why not go with the 175.

That is my opinion and my experience on both... the oceanpro.
