Caught just a few miles outside of Valdez Narrows. Got him after a limit of silvers for 4 in about 2 hours fishing. Hot day for sure

My very first yelloweye, caught on 8/13 near Ketchikan 580-590 feet deep. Just had some of it yesterday & now understand why it's so highly prized by y'all up there. Absolutely delicious!!
