18' Alumacraft (1860) w/ Yam F90/65 jet
Anyone have any experience with this set-up? I'm working on buying it right now, and am wondering what kind of performance I'm going to get. Curious about how much weight it will push up the river (effectively), GPH on the 90 jet (at cruising speed) and cruising/top speeds.
I read in another one of the posts something about 1 GPH per 10 HP, but 9 GPH seems pretty excessive for a mid-size boat and motor. Haven't been able to find a lot of info on-line about the motor's performance....so I'm looking for someone with some experience with this set-up.
